The Comunication
I enjoyed a photoshoot last spring at a horsemanship clinic by a very knowledgable trainer.
He communicated both with horse and rider.
There will be more paintings of this man and horses.

Oil, 11x14
This is a painting I did of Mr. Frank Lara. He was spokesman for a demonstration of the Bush dance near Orick CA.
He spoke of the local history and traditions of the coastal Indians in our area. The dance is performed by tribal members for an ill child.

I SEE YOU!
Country Girls
I took the reference of these Belgian mares at a local parade last year. I was attracted to their old well used, mismatched harness. I did this in watercolor just to challenge myself. A challenge it was too! Enjoyed every minute of it! Watercolor 20"x 16"

Peach
One of my latest watercolors, "Peach" 11x14. I love the boy's expression as he bites into a big peach. Is it sweet? Sour? This was Juried into a recent show at RAA show at the Morris Graves Museum.
I have been doing watercolor seriously for a little over a year. As a died in the wool oil painter for many years, the transition has not been an easy one.
